For CBT Trainers, demonstrating flawless riding without bad habits is critical, as any incorrect technique shown to learners not only undermines their respect for the instructor but also compromises the learning process.

Furthermore, instructors must revisit the fundamentals, riding with the scrutiny of being under a motorcycle test. This level of proficiency is crucial for effectively passing on correct practices and advice, particularly during the road-ride training segment.

Ensuring these skills are honed is essential for maintaining professional credibility and delivering quality training to novice riders, emphasising the importance of role-modelling exemplary riding behaviour at all times.

Many CBT Motorcycle Instructors enter the industry without any advanced riding qualifications, marking a significant gap in their expertise and ability. This oversight diminishes the foundation required to instruct effectively at a higher level.

Being able to ride doesn’t automatically make you an expert rider. There are a lot of instructors who have only take and passed a basic motorcycle test. Although they may have experience they are only marginally ahead of learner riders in qualification.

Instructors should prioritise enhancing their qualifications to the highest level possible prior to teaching. Should advanced qualifications not be possible before becoming a trainer, setting a goal to achieve advanced riding status within six months is highly recommended.

The extra two days training will cost £500.00. This training is part of the practical training package and can only be used as a bundle once you enrol onto a practical course.
