The Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) was developed by the DVSA to bridge the gap between the Module 2 DAS riding standard and becoming an Advanced Rider.
Many students need a more detailed understanding of The System, before heading out to a Advanced Institute such as IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists or RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents). Training with a volunteer from IAM or RoSPA may be pitched at a higher level, with an emphasis on speed rather than skill. ERS allows riders to learn with professional trainers, who can pitch training to individual rider needs, rather than a, “one size fits all” method.
These diagrams cover Vision and Planning, Positioning, Speed and Responsive Gears, Overtaking and Cornering. Ideal for any post-test or Advanced Trainer.
Slow Control and Developing the Correct Rider Attitude are not included.
